Older people often love older hymns, while teens & younger adults often prefer new, even "rocking" worship songs. EASY SOLUTION: Include a COMBO in the Worship Music set list.
The invented term for this style = "BLENDED WORSHIP".
So don't feel you have to write EVERY song completely "from scratch". Like adding creative touches to an old recipe, it is fun to take old hymns
and then add a new MOVEMENT (full song section / movement)
or chorus.
SAMPLE:
