COMMITMENT in MUSIC For God

At ALIVE festival in OH around 2006, I was chatting with guy setting up Soundboard in rear booth for next band (when he took break) about his wide tattoo on left finger. He said it was his wedding band, & laughed when I replied, "Now THAT is commitment!"... 

 As soon as the band started, I learned --- he was guitarist for famous Christian band Audio Adrenaline. :)

GOD DOES NOT need a Tattoo to remind Him to Keep His Promises, His Commitments to you if you Honor Him-- Because God has ALREADY ENGRAVED all His people who who honor Him ON HIS HAND... Isaiah 49:16 Israel + Romans 11, "grafted in" people who Believe & Honor Him. SUCH JOY! PEACE!

Intruder Fighting Songs

In one of my Songwriter's groups, someone asked help: His mind kept suggesting a title of "INTRUDER" for heavy rock, but he couldn't think of a topic that was NOT negative, like home invasion. By the time I saw his post, I noticed, NO one else had suggested an 
Encouraging, 
Hope-Filled song.  
 
So here was my suggestion: 
How about all the Lies trying
 to Intrude into our mind & take over... 
SO many ideas for songs ...
Especially about LIES like BULLIES tell us-- 
 
 
 
  •     You're worthless, 
  •     You're ugly, 
  •     You'll never amount to anything- may as well kill yourself.
(Actual lines especially of high school bullies....)
 
AND "Useful" LIES to our MINDS by Satan, according to Jesus, who said this angel that God made chose to reject his creator...
and became the "FATHER OF LIES" to people. -- John 10:10.
Think of how YOU could encourage other people with your SONG words! 
Such a joy, a "purpose" while having fun  "playing around" 
writing Song Lyrics that give HOPE. Even if you don't write MELODIES.... Hey,
You can always find a musician eager to put HOPE into Music Notes! -- DianaDee

Fervency In Music?!

Fervency in Music? Whatever your beliefs, Your Story affects how music you write or sing or even just listen to will affect your Fervency  in  Daily Living--> 
 
Joy? Peace? Super-Sad-YET-Hopeful for future? 
ALL THESE affect how Your Story touches OTHER people thru music... 
 
MY STORY that came before these almost 700 RECORDED songs, 2009-now:  My Life Changed in June 2000, first time I went to CREATION EAST  music festival in PA. 
 
I'd gone weekly to Methodist church services since 10 DAYS old-- 

Yet I  had NO IDEA that people could FERVENTLY worship our Great LORD and Creator who made you & me & all DIFFERENT-- Psalm 139, planned before our birth! 
 
This Joy Amid the Griefs that come with Life have affected my music... which I've written (with God's help, Ephesians 3:20-21 WAY beyond my natural skills).....
 
.... with the Goal that the music will bring you, too, Peace & HOPE for your future... with 1,000s of scripture promises Woven thru song lyrics to help us remember: God cares. Even the atheists who wrote of Jesus since the time of the Cross described Jesus as CARING.... and God sent Him. Chapter 1 of John & of First John & more in Bible.

Much joy to you as YOU share the Fervency in your heart with others, as God answers any prayers to serve Him by writing His Words into New Music! - DdO:)
